Customs receives two complaints on misuse of GST ID

The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Customs Department) received two complaints relating to the misuse of the 12-digit registration of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) number or GST ID by two food outlets.


Due to poor management before and after GST implementation, chaos still rules more than two weeks into its implementation.
