Earlier, a passer-by telephoned the police to complain that the car was obstructing traffic and there was something suspicious about the vehicle.
Barat Daya police chief Supt Mohd Hatta Mohd Zain said initial investigations indicated there were at least, three bullet holes in the rear of the car while another was found in front of its windscreen.
"Nevertheless, there was no trace of bloodstain inside the vehicle which belonged to a person residing at an address in Jalan Van Praagh here.
"We are investigating the case under the Firearms Act 1960 and the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 to facilitate investigations.
"The person, who does not have criminal recoprd, is believed to have fled from the home to avoid detection," he told reporters here today.
