(Relaxnews) - Sony's BDV-N9100 home cinema system, now available in Europe, comes equipped with a "Football Mode," designed to bring the acoustic ambiance of the stadium into the living room, in part by muting the commentary that accompanies most sports broadcasts.
The home cinema's sports mode creates the most realistic stadium setting possible by using sound data collected at sports arenas around the world. Users can even choose to cut out the voice of sports commentators to enhance the illusion of being in the stands at the event.
NFC technology enables the system to connect wirelessly with compatible smartphones or tablets, while WiFi connectivity ensures access to the local network. As a result, users can retrieve media wirelessly from a number of devices and can use a smartphone or tablet as a remote control. For enhanced ease of use, the BDV-N9100 supports voice commands when searching through media content.
The BDV-N9100 home cinema system has a total output of 1000W and supports resolutions of 4K (four times the resolution of Full HD content). The model is available in European markets in black and white at the respective prices of €900 and €950. Copyright (AFP RELAXNEWS), 2013.
