SHAH ALAM, MALAYSIA: Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo quitted his positions as Selangor Umno and BN chief. His positions will be replaced by Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib.

Khir said he will be taking full responsibility for the Selangor BN’s dismal performance in the recent elections. He stepped down and apologised to the people.

He made the short announcement 9pm Wednesday (19 Mar) at Bangunan Umno Selangor. (Sin Chew Daily)
