PAS PRESIDENT HADI WINS, UMNO'S AWANG ADEK LOSES

PAS president Hj Abdul Hadi Awang won the Marang state seat in Terengganu by beating Ahmad Ramzi Mohamad Zubir of BN with a majority of 2,747 votes.

Dr Awang Adek of UMNO lost the Bachok state seat in Kelantan to PAS¡¦ Nasharudin Mat Isa by 2,901 votes.

Abdul Khalid Ibrahim of PKR won the Ijok state seat by beating Mohamed Sayuti bin Said of UMNO with a majority of 1,920 votes.

Mukhriz Mahathir, son of former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, won the Jerlun parliamentary seat with a majority of 2,205 votes beating Idris Ahmad of PAS.
