The iconic 13-foot statue of Christopher Columbus is viewed from the 810-square-foot "living room" art installation by Japanese artist Tatzu Nishi in New York City. Viewed as a piece of conceptual art, "Living Room", which sits 70-feet above ground level and is only accessible via a scaffold-encased staircase, has been temporarily built around the Columbus Monument in Columbus Circle. Beginning Thursday, up to 25 people at a time can enter the living room to view up close the 1892 marble figure. Photo courtesy: AFP
