KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 18 (Bernama) -- Police will get the assistance of explosives experts to facilitate the home-made bomb explosions case in front of the Jalan Duta court on Jan 9, said Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Mohmad Salleh today.
He said apart from the army, they would also contact companies with knowledge of such matters for guidance.
"We will get their expert opinions, including on pyrotechnics such as fireworks, which may have been used in the bombings," he said after a monthly gathering at the KL police headquarters here.
Commenting on the latest development on information from the public in relation to the case, Mohmad Salleh said police were still studying and scrutinising what had been received.
Three explosions were set off during an assembly by opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's supporters after the High Court discharged and acquitted him of a sodomy charge involving his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan in 2008.
The explosions caused injuries to four members of the public and minor damage to vehicles parked nearby.
