Liao Hua Mei, 60, said that her goose now weights 10kg while her duck weights 7kg.

She started raising them since many years ago. Every morning when she leaves home for rubber tapping, her goose follows her to the gate and it honks whenever a stranger enters the house, as if it is guarding the house.

Liao said that someone had offered her a good price for her goose and duck but she rejected it as she is very much fond of them. She wants to be with them until they die.
