JITRA, March 19 (Bernama) -- Any exposure on the alleged misdeeds of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is of public interest and good for the nation, said Member of Parliament for Kubang Pasu Datuk Mohd Johari Baharom.

He said Anwar's antics especially in manipulating issues could destabilise the country.

"He likes to harp on sensitive issues like religion and race to the detriment of the country," he told reporters here today.

Mohd Johari was commenting on MP for Bayan Baru Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim's revealations that Anwar had used the name of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin and claimed he had the support of the armed forces in the planned takeover of the federal government on Sept 16 last year.

"The revelations shed more light on the takeover bid. They also showed that the opposition is cracking up," said Mohd Johari.
