SEBERANG PERAI SELATAN, PENANG: A young assistant accountant in Kampung Valdor created sweet wedding memories for his bride by forming an escort with eight trishaws.

The 24-year-old groom, Chen Zijing, and 23-year-old bride Chen Shushuang were both assistant accountants living in the same village.

The groom said that as the distance between their houses was short, he suggested to use trishaws as their escort. His suggestion was supported by their parents.

The escort cost him a total of RM1400 in which RM800 for the rental and RM600 for the transportation fees.
