IPOH, March 8 (Bernama) -- China Guangxi Television, a Chinese television station, is to produce a documentary film on Perak for broadcast in China, Perak State Executive Councillor Dr Mah Hang Soon said today.
He said the station was impressed with the live of the multiracial population, the unique food of various types and the beauty of nature in the state.
Speaking to reporters after receiving the director of the station, Din Jinping, at his office here, Dr Mah said the station would produce the film in 10 episodes.
He said the station crew would be in Perak for 10 days to do the filming.
The film would highlight the orang utan conservation centre in Bukit Merah Laketown Resort, the live of the people of various races, and unique food such as "teh tarik", Ipoh white coffee and "koay teow", he said.
"Some things which may be plain for us are unique to them," Dr Mah said.
