The United States Time magazine had recently listed five things the US can learn from China.

Since Americans are so generous, Chinese people should not behave like a niggard. If Americans can learn from Chinese, then Chinese people can also learn from Americans.

Moreover, isn't it a loss for Chinese if Americans have learned all of their strong points?

Unfortunately, the Chinese media have been drunk with American's praises and they can see only themselves growing into a peacock but do not notice that the US is a robust eagle.

I know a little about the US and thus, I'll take the risk of arousing the anger of many Great China warriors to suggest another five things that, perhaps, China can learn from the US.

(1) Leading American universities

Americans may not be the most diligent people but the US universities are able to develop the best talents.

The US universities have huge resources. Harvard University's annual budget may be the total amount of 50 top universities in China. The US universities take in the most prominent elites in the world but Chinese universities are just looking for relatively more intelligence students among the same group of those with yellow skin.

(2) Most creative companies

The world's top companies are mostly located in the US. Microsoft, Intel, Sysco, Boeing,...none of the Chinese company is comparable with them.

The future competition is based on the battlefield of science, technology, knowledge and creativity, which are all the advantages of the US companies.

Meanwhile, Chinese companies are still manufacturing-based with startling productivity. However, they are lack of technology, knowledge and creativity.

In fact, many successful Chinese companies, which have just set up their bases, rely on orders and technical support from the United States.

(3) Soft culture is a global trend

The US soft culture power is still the absolute mainstream.

From Hollywood films, popular music, American fast food to ipod, iphone, youtube and google, all of these soft culture have been filling every corner of the world. Almost every young people is inseparable with these things.

This is what we call the the power of the American culture. It will affect the people's thought of the world, making them to follow the US. As for the Chinese culture, even most of the Chinese people are not interested in it.

(4) Dominating military forces

Even though the China 60th anniversary military parade was very impressive, it was still, according to military experts, a decade or a few decade lagging behind the US after all.

The US is still leading ahead in terms of army, navy, air force and even space force.

Moreover, only the US forces have real combat experience over the past 30 years. The US forces become stronger and stronger, from the Vietnam War to the Iraq War, none of them have daunted the US.

(5) A sound system and self-renewal

The US is having a sound democratic system with solid separation of powers, efficient administration, as well as significant check and balance and oversight role.

Protected human rights, free expression of public opinion, no place for corruption and improvements in performances, all these conditions are fundamental to social stability, as well as the motive power for national progress.

Incapable government and president who has done wrong can just be replaced to ensure the country's vitality and self-renewal.

I found that there are still 45 more advantages of the US which I am not able to list here.
