KAMPAR, Perak: 22 primary school students participating in the 1Malaysia motivation camp met an accident at about 10 p.m. Monday night when a newly built suspension bridge they were crossing suddenly collapsed, and they were swept away by the swift current.
19 victims were later rescued, an Indian girl drowned and two others still missing.
