PUTRAJAYA: Director-general of health Tan Sri Dr Mohd Ismail Merican said 35 new A(H1N1) cases were added today (4 July), bringing the total number of confirmed flu cases to 326 so far.

Among the newly confirmed cases, he said 24 were imported while 11 locally transmitted.

He also said among the latest cases, 28 involved Malaysians, seven foreigners, namely three Indonesians, three Australians and one Singaporean.

Of all the 326 A(H1N1) cases confirmed so far, 239 or 73% have recovered while the remaining 87 are still undergoing treatment at hospitals. (MySinchew)
