KUALA TERENGGANU: There is an MMS message circulating in Kuala Terengganu, in which Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut "admitted" in the state assembly that PAS had not brought any development when the party was ruling Terengganu.
In the 40-second clip, there were three people talking at the state assembly, namely PAS' Wakaf Mempelam state assemblyman Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut, UMNO's Alur Limbat state assemblyman Alias Abdullah and UMNO's former Ladang state assemblyman Datuk Wan Hisham Wan Salleh.
In the videoclip, Alias was asking whether the delay in a certain project had been related to PAS' four-year rule. The camera subsequently moved to Wahid Endut, who said, "The construction was carried out during BN's rule. Nothing was done during our time." (Pembinaan dibuat semasa zaman BN memerintah, zaman kita tak buat apa pun.)
At that time, Wan Hisham stood up and said, "Thank God. We can all testify today that Wakaf Mempelam state assemblyman has admitted that the PAS state government did not bring any development to the state."
There was no mention of the time of the recording, and it is not known whether the recording is genuine or has been edited. (Translated by DOMINIC LOH/Sin Chew Daily)
