KUALA LUMPUR: Former MCA vice president Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek said he wouldn't openly express whether to support or not to support Datuk Chua Jui Meng in the latter's bid for party presidency.

He just said, "good luck."

During an exclusive interview with Sin Chew Daily, Chua Soi Lek said he would not yet announce his own intentions in the coming party elections.

"I'll just watch and go!"

However, he admitted that a three-cornered fight for MCA's presidency would not augur well for the challengers.

"Jui Meng is a central committee member and therefore eligible to contest for party presidency. I only will wish him good luck, but won't say whether to support him or not."
