YINSON HOLDINGS will invest RM6m to add 20 to 30 new trucks to its existing 350-unit fleet in the FYE Jan 31, 2009. MD LIM HAN WENG said having an adequate number of trucks would help the Company provide better services to existing clients and attract new clients.

LIM was quoted in the STARONLINE on Jul 29, 2008 saying that although the European models were higher priced, cost-wise they were a better choice, as they were more economical.

He added that apart from owning trucks, YINSON also hired about 200 trucks from smaller transporters.

For the FYE Jan 31, 2008, YINSON recorded PBT of RM18.57m on Revenue of RM483.26m against RM15.15m and RM418.95m previously.(By KLSETRACKER.com)
